A wealth of experience

Pumping And Technical Services Limited have been at the forefront in the design and manufacture of centrifugal pumps for in excess of 40 years. Our production and maintenance experience covers chemical pumps, corrosion resistant pumps, horizontal and vertical pumps and many others.

All our pumps are individually designed and built to meet our clients’ exact process requirements. This flexible approach ensures the optimum features essential for trouble free, low maintenance installation.

All our production staff are qualified, time served, skilled tradesmen with many of them having been with the company since its inception. As such our team have extensive knowledge and experience of pump manufacture and maintenance.

Facilities

PATS’ Adlington test facility is now the largest independent pump testing and pump performance development facility in the country. With capacity to test pumps with flow rates up to 36,000m3/hr (10,000l/sec) and up to 1000m head.

Our purpose-built workshops are extensively equipped to offer a comprehensive range of equipment repair and refurbishment services including fault finding and performance testing enabling us to rebuild and test all types of pumps. Complete with various overhead cranage up to 30 Tonne lifting capacity, meaning that we have the ability to handle, repair and test the largest of units.

Specification

Drawing on our extensive experience we excel in contract / project management whilst ensuring our products are built to the relevant industry standards along with customers’ contract specific specifications. Heavily involved with the design of petrochemical pumps, we are familiar with the required standards and documentation demands, particularly those of API 610.

Our engineers – from ASME IX coded welders to our specialist fitters – have the necessary skills and knowledge to understand our customers’ needs and develop the appropriate engineering solution.

Pumps are commonly designed and manufactured to the following international standards:

  • BS 4082

  • ATEX Directives.

From the outset of design through to delivery, we had full support. Witness testing at their facility demonstrated a fully capable site for development, design and test. We have full confidence with PATS and have again selected them to supply high flow pumps for a facility we are developing in the Middle East.
